Scoil Asicus Book Club at Children’s Books Ireland Awards

Our Junior Jury Book group represented Sligo at the Children’s Books Ireland Awards in Merrion Square on Wednesday.

We got to see of the authors in person, celebrate the winners and even get our books signed.

It was a great day out and a fantastic experience celebrating literacy and reading.

Thank you to Ms McDermott and Mrs Giligan for accompanying the children all the way to Dublin and back.
