Every year we review our fire evacuation procedures and do a fire drill. Our 1st drill of this year went smoothly even though people were surprised to hear the fire alarm bell ringing in the middle of the school day. Everyone left the school quickly and calmly and assembled on the basketball court away from the school building. Once the roll was called and everyone was accounted for we switched off the alarm and went back to school.
