We are learning all about shapes this month. We love making shapes in lots of different ways. We are practising writing our numbers and we love writing out our number stories. In play we are learning about the Garden Centre, making flowers, using marla and planting seeds. Thank you to Ana Faye for lending us her chomp saw. The children really enjoyed cutting their cardboard in junk art with the chomp saw. A huge thank you to Kate's Dad Gerry for visiting us in the classroom. Ger runs Strand Plants Nursery here in Strandhill. We were all delighted to have Gerry in to talk to us all about plants and we learned lots! Thank you for giving us strawberry plants to bring home!
