Anne O'Toole, the Chief Medical Scientist in the Microbiologist laboratory, visited 2 classes in our school. She spoke to the classes about her work in Sligo University Hospital. She showed them slides of different cells. The children also touched agar plates and Anne grew the bacteria from their hands in the lab.
